NKS preset library for Toontrack Superior Drummer 3. Library contains all artwork and database files, sound previews, fully tagged presets and pre-mapped control template.
Currently factory library is supported and expansion library support may be added if there is enough feedback and interest.
Includes all library artwork for MK2 and MK3 keyboards and sound previews of each kit.
The Free Download Version contains a handful of presets to test how the NKS installation and compatibility will work. You can download and install this for free to test things out before purchasing the full NKS library.
Download includes demo files for all models. Delete the NKS Presets for the models you wish to not use.

Banks are created for each collection and available via the single stereo output bank or the [Multi] channel output bank selector.
Controls are available for mixer mic volume, bus volume, channel panning (or mono channel instruments) and kit piece tuning.
Each NKS file is unique in the control design for each kit and will have specifically designed control templates for the loaded kit. All 100 macro slots are pre-mapped allowing you to easily add additional controls to any loaded kit.
Due to the complex nature of SD3, the large amount of controls available and the limit of only 100 macro controls that can be used by NKS it is difficult to offer much more control via NKS however where possible additional improvements may be made based on user feedback.
Multi-Channel Mapping
The [Multi] presets are designed to allow routing of discrete outputs from the SD3 plugin within your DAW. Channel mapping follows the default routing that SD3 provides:
OUT 1/2 = KICK
OUT 3/4 = SNARE
OUT 5/6 = SNARE BOTTOM
OUT 7/8 = HI-HAT
OUT 9/10 = TOMS
OUT 11/12 = OVERHEAD / ROOM
OUT 13/14 = AMBIENCE
OUT 15/16 = AMBIENCE MID
OUT 17/18 = REVERB / DELAY
OUT 19/20 = FX / PROCESSED
OUT 21/22 = EXTRA 1
OUT 23/24 = EXTRA 2
OUT 25/26 = EXTRA 3
OUT 27/28 = EXTRA 4
OUT 29/30 = EXTRA 5
Expansion Kit Libraries?Â
The initial release covers the factory library and feedback will determine is expansions will have libraries created. These NKS files are quite difficult to produce so only if there is demand will time be invested into developing support for expansion kits.

This NKS library is developed with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the plugin developer for personal use only. This library is NOT a VST plugin instrument and will not operate as such in your DAW. It is a “NKS Compatibility Library” designed to work with the listed plugin within Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for the purpose of browsing, loading and controlling presets from the plugin within the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software.

Details on requirements are listed above and this includes the need for the full up-to-date version of the listed plugin to be installed as a VST3 available plugin. If expansion content is listed above, this also has to be installed in addition to the full version of the plugin. A downloadable demo version of the NKS library is available to test and ask questions before purchase along with downloadable instructions.
