NKS preset library for Addictive Drums 2 and all kits. Library contains all artwork and database files, sound previews, fully tagged presets and in-depth pre-mapped control template.
Addictive Drums 2 offers a variety of expansion drum kits that have have now all been made NKS compatible. Because there is such a range of kits available you can choose below which kits you need NKS compatibility for.
All NKS libraries come complete with a detailed controller map to allow adjustment of the different elements in the kit along with sound previews of each kit. Library artwork and database files are all included in the free Core library download which you can download and test out before purchasing any expansions.
Each kit contains 2 preset banks for the default AD2 midi mapping and also GM midi mapping. Banks are labelled with these different mappings and you can easily remove one of the maps if you never plan to use it.

You can download the main core library for FREE which contains the artwork and main database files along with the “Explore AD2” preset files (which will work if you have the Fairfax kits in your collection).
Please download the CORE Library and install it then install the NKS libraries for the expansion kits you have. Instructions are included with each downloaded zip file and are simple to install.

All presets from each kit are available with a detailed controller map allowing control over each of the kit elements. Banks allow selection of the different kits.
There are 2 different libraries for the default AD2 Midi Mapping, good for playing via keyboard or pad controllers, or General Midi (GM) mapping designed to integrate with standard MIDI tracks or electronic drum kits.

– Set Pitch Control to “enabled” for all channel pitch adjustments to allow easy adjustment from keyboard.
This may affect some kits that have adjustments set but pitch was disabled. This change is to better
assist visually impaired users that cannot select the pitch On/Off control as this parameter is not
available for host automation

This NKS library is developed with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the plugin developer for personal use only. This library is NOT a VST plugin instrument and will not operate as such in your DAW. It is a “NKS Compatibility Library” designed to work with the listed plugin within Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for the purpose of browsing, loading and controlling presets from the plugin within the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software.

Details on requirements are listed above and this includes the need for the full up-to-date version of the listed plugin to be installed as a VST3 available plugin. If expansion content is listed above, this also has to be installed in addition to the full version of the plugin. A downloadable demo version of the NKS library is available to test and ask questions before purchase along with downloadable instructions.
