NKS preset library for Steinberg Halion Sonic 7 Factory, Halion Sonic 7 Cubase/Live Edition, Halion Sonic SE. Each Library contains all artwork and database files, sound previews, fully tagged presets and in-depth pre-mapped control templates.
This NKS library offers full browsing and macro control of the below instruments and includes fully tagged files, sound previews and database files for your NKS browser.
There are currently 3 different bundles available for Halion Sonic 7, Halion Sonic SE and Halion Sonic 7 Cubase Edition. Each bundle has a list of the instrument libraries supplied as Halion Sonic is often bundled with different instruments so please confirm which version you have and if the instruments you need are bundled.
Each of these bundles are also included in the demo download to test that it will load correctly for you so download the demo to test.

The Free Download Version contains a handful of presets to test how the NKS installation and compatibility will work. You can download and install this for free to test things out before purchasing the full NKS library.

Each instrument also has a template that (for most instruments) covers the additional GUI macro controls for the first instance. Note some instrument presets contain multiple instances for “layers” bit it is not (easily) possible to map the additional layers so only the first one can be mapped. Also note that while loading the NKS preset should have your controls working fine, switching presets within Halion may see your controls lose function. This is due to Halion resetting the mapping between presets for some instruments so an automated “remapper” was created to remap and save these assignments with each preset

This NKS library is developed with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the plugin developer for personal use only. This library is NOT a VST plugin instrument and will not operate as such in your DAW. It is a “NKS Compatibility Library” designed to work with the listed plugin within Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for the purpose of browsing, loading and controlling presets from the plugin within the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software.

Details on requirements are listed above and this includes the need for the full up-to-date version of the listed plugin to be installed as a VST3 available plugin. If expansion content is listed above, this also has to be installed in addition to the full version of the plugin. A downloadable demo version of the NKS library is available to test and ask questions before purchase along with downloadable instructions.
While every effort is made to ensure libraries are accurate and work reliably on both PC and Mac and all purchases come with full support via email there is no guarantee it will work perfectly for all users or with updated versions of any software. A lot of work goes into managing this project, hosting the files and writing documentation etc. Downloaded libraries contain secret tracking features within the files we can use to match to an account and any libraries found online being illegally shared will have their accounts suspended without notice so please be wary of sharing a library.
