NKS preset library for Steinberg Halion 7 Factory, Absolute 6 Collection and additional instruments for Halion 7. Each Library contains all artwork and database files, sound previews, fully tagged presets and in-depth pre-mapped control templates.
This NKS library offers full browsing and control of the factory instruments included with Halion 7 along with the optional collection of NKS libraries for instruments included in the Steinberg Absolute 6 Bundle.
Each instrument library is listed as a separate library in the NKS browser making it much easier to find the instrument and sound you are looking for. All presets have tagging pulled from Halion and converted to NKS tagging and where possible a detailed controller map has been created, tho some instruments have multi-layers so the macro controls cover these instruments only.

Due to the large number of instruments available for Halion it is currently not possible to support every instrument due to cost but if there is a high number of requests we will look further into adding support for more instruments.

This library supports the Halion 6 instrument and is not compatible with Halion 7. This was released for Halion 6 and is not compatible with the additional expansion content listed above, offers browsing of the following libraries.
The Free Download Version contains a handful of presets to test how the NKS installation and compatibility will work. You can download and install this for free to test things out before purchasing the full NKS library.

This Halion 7 library has been completely overhauled from scratch from the Halion 6 library and now offers each instrument as a separate browsable library in the NKS browser instead of a bank in the Halion instrument. This should help aid with finding the instrument you are after easier.
Each instrument also has an updated template that (for most instruments) covers the additional GUI macro controls for the first instance. Note some instrument presets contain multiple instances for “layers” bit it is not (easily) possible to map the additional layers so only the first one can be mapped. Also note that while loading the NKS preset shoulld have your controls working fine, switching presets within Halion may see your controls lose function. This is due to Halion resetting the mapping between presets for some instruments so an automated “remapper” was created to remap and save these assignments with each preset

This NKS library is developed with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the plugin developer for personal use only. This library is NOT a VST plugin instrument and will not operate as such in your DAW. It is a “NKS Compatibility Library” designed to work with the listed plugin within Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for the purpose of browsing, loading and controlling presets from the plugin within the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software.

Details on requirements are listed above and this includes the need for the full up-to-date version of the listed plugin to be installed as a VST3 available plugin. If expansion content is listed above, this also has to be installed in addition to the full version of the plugin. A downloadable demo version of the NKS library is available to test and ask questions before purchase along with downloadable instructions.
