The Omnisphere 2 NKS Library is a preset library for browsing Omnisphere 2 presets from the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software and hardware.
This library contains over 8500 factory presets for Omnisphere 2 that can be loaded and browsed directly using the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software and hardware. All presets have been saved as NKS files which contains the Omnisphere preset information, tagging information and mapped controls.
Sound previews are now also available for your library so you can hear what a preset sounds like before loading the instrument. Additionally, a Komplete Kontrol database file and plug-in artwork is also included to create entries in your User Library.
You have the option of purchasing the following NKS library variations:
Omnisphere 2 + Hardware Library: Includes all the latest updates and the “Hardware Library” update for Omnisphere which includes 1600+ hardware modelled presets!
Omnisphere 2 (VST3): Omnisphere Factory presets supporting VST3, includes all MULTI presets too (does not include Hardware Library Expansion)
Hardware Library: If you are missing the Omnisphere Hardware Library (hardware synth modelled presets) you can purchase this upgrade separate.
This library will work with Omnisphere 3 but does not offer control of the new global controls. This library will be updated soon to add additional controller support and update the bank information for Omnisphere 3.
A new Omnisphere 3 Factory NKS Library is now available that offers browsing of the new Omnisphere 3 factory content however for Omnisphere Legacy content, you currently need the Omnisphere 2 library. Upgrades will be offered to Omnisphere 2 owners for the updated Omnisphere Legacy content.
With the release of Omnisphere 2.5 and updated again to include even more presets in 2.6, a new library called the “Hardware Library” was included which has hardware synth modelled presets. This library contains an additional 1000+ presets (Omnisphere 2.5) and 600 presets (Omnisphere 2.6) and makes use of the new 4 layer feature of Omnisphere, which comes with a new 4 layer template for these preset files.
This is considered an “Expansion Library” which adds additional presets for Omnisphere. If you have the previous Omnisphere NKS library you can add the Hardware library expansion above or purchase both together for a bundled discount
Each of the newly available “Sonic Extension” libraries is now available in NKS format to offer the custom controls mapped to the hardware for every preset. Each preset in these expansion libraries have completely custom controls that have been painstakingly mapped and labelled to allow instant recall with a preset load. This saves having to re-learn parameters between every preset since every preset is completely different in the control mapping.
Support for a range of 3rd party libraries is also available. You must already have the Omnisphere NKS library purchased to be able to access these libraries and requires the original library to be installed for Omnisphere (does not work without original library being installed)

Presets are tagged and sorted as logically as possible with most of the useful tags from Omnisphere copied over to the NKS preset.
Some tags have been formatted to conform to NKS tagging schemes and some tags have been consolidated or removed to make the browser as easy to navigate as possible.
Custom templates have been created to control the dual layer presets, quad layer presets and multi-layer presets. Templates will load depending on the type of preset selected and allow typical control for that style of preset

This NKS library is developed with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the plugin developer for personal use only. This library is NOT a VST plugin instrument and will not operate as such in your DAW. It is a “NKS Compatibility Library” designed to work with the listed plugin within Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for the purpose of browsing, loading and controlling presets from the plugin within the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software.

Details on requirements are listed above and this includes the need for the full up-to-date version of the listed plugin to be installed as a VST3 available plugin. If expansion content is listed above, this also has to be installed in addition to the full version of the plugin. A downloadable demo version of the NKS library is available to test and ask questions before purchase along with downloadable instructions.
