Dawesome NKS Libraries

NKS library releases for Abyss 2, Chop Suey, Myth and Zyklop with more libraries for Dawesome plugins coming soon.

Abyss 2

A feature I was asked to look into for visually impaired users was the possibility to enable/disable or adjust the FX slots which are modular effects and the dry/wet control for each modular effect is specific to the FX module so changing FX modules means the parameter has to be relearned. I was able to find a method to map each of the 4 FX slots enable/disable control along with the dry/wet control on a per-preset level so changing presets will auto-load the mapping to enable/disable and adjust the dry/wet mix for the effects for the loaded preset. The effects enable/mix page will mirror the effects loaded so if there is only 1 effect loaded, only 1 control will show. It does, however, mean this mapping only works when loading NKS files and will not work if you change the preset from the plugin or change the effects modules for the loaded preset, this would require remapping the parameters but this is outside the scope of what is possible and this at least offers some control over a presets effects.

Myth

All presets are fully tagged, contain sound previews and library artwork for the NKS browser and hardware controllers and include all the bank info for artist and collections. A comprehensive control template has been created that offers 18 pages of dedicated global controls with additional fully custom modular controls PER-PRESET that offer access to control the modular effects for the Osc, Filter and FX sections allowing actual control over these modules.

This required quite a complex way to create these presets (without having to lower my standards to use any AI tools) and may have produced the odd anomaly due to the sheer number of modules and parameters that had to be uniquely created for each preset so if you encounter any issues just let me know.

It should be noted that Maschine has issues displaying some of the parameters with some Dawesome plugins. Not sure exactly why but I have noted that some non-essential parameters may appear missing and this is an issue with Maschine from what I can see. This happens with a few other plugins I have noted over the years while Komplete Kontrol has no such issues but just be aware if you are a Maschine user. Also worth noting that because every preset is completely unique in its control template, there is no ability for me to globally update the control template so sadly any feedback or suggestions on changes just will not be possible for this library at this moment but I think it should be more than sufficient especially for those asking for some control over the effects.

Zyklop

All presets are fully tagged and banks have been created to select presets from each contributing artist, contain sound previews and library artwork for the NKS browser and hardware controllers. A full controller map offers a fully in-depth pre-configured controller template that will allow for full control including full control over all modular Osc, Filter and FX modules

Most of the main controls have been mapped allowing in-depth control including the modular Osc, Filter and FX modules. One thing to note is some modules allow 2 instances to be loaded however most presets only ever use the first instance so only the first instance of each module has been pre-mapped. This requires quite a few pages but will allow for control over any loaded modules even if you exchange them for others in a preset. It may be possible to modify presets to only show the controls available for each preset however this will be dependant on feedback and overall popularity, for now full control mapping is offered.

Chop Suey

All presets are fully tagged and banks have been created to select presets for each group of kicks. Contains sound previews and library artwork for the NKS browser and hardware controllers. Full controller map that covers all available controls, note that Maschine users may see some parameters missing from the control map as there are some issues with Maschine seeing parameters of some plugins.
