A new bundle collection for IK Multimedia Total Studio 5 is now available!
This bundle covers all released NKS library content for IK Multimedia Total Studio 5 to browse, load and control all the instruments within this collection. Currently only instruments are covered, we may consider adding effects presets if there is sufficient interest but instrument presets are more useful for browsing. Supports all content in Total Studio 5 MAX (currently no plans to release versions for the Pro or Standard versions at this time but please let us know if this is of interest)
The following Total Studio 5 MAX content is covered in this bundle. Each separate instrument will appear as a separate browsable instrument in your Maschine and Komplete kontrol NKS browser, fully tagged, with sound previews and where possible, full control of the sound. For plug-ins such as SampleTank where there are many expansions, these will all be listed as Banks you can select for browsing.
This huge bundle includes over 11,000 presets that have been painstakingly developed into these NKS libraries and will require about 25GB of HDD space to install.

NKS library available for Pianoverse MAX allowing browsing and full control of all 9 piano models.
Includes tagged presets, sound previews, artwork/database files and full controller map.
Please Note: Pianoverse has obnoxiously huge sample libraries for the pianos, 40GB for some pianos which can take a long time to load and will be affected obviously by HDD and computer speed. When loading a preset for the first time or switching between piano models be aware it could take up to 1-2 minutes to load a piano, faster if you have a fast SSD but this is not an ideal plugin to preset flip.
All controls however are nicely laid out allowing easy adjustment of all parameters, velocity and sound settings.

NKS libraries for MODO Drum and MODO Bass
I have seriously put off doing these because honestly I don’t feel they are worth it and with plugins like Trilian and XLN Audio Addictive Drums, these are far better options. I have issues with several IK products for being buggy and lacking functionality but these 2 are completely missing any Host Automation control making it impossible to use any hardware with them other than playing keys, they are purely mouse only for adjustment so if you are a blind user hoping to use these, sorry to say these are the least accessible plugins on the planet.
The NKS library does offers tagged browsing with sound previews and loading of the presets fine but offers no parameter control as there is simply nothing open in the plugin to map. I raised this issue with IK, they simply said “that is how it is, maybe add a feature request” and closed my ticket. so I have created a feature request HERE
If there is ever an update to add this missing Host Automation functionality I will certainly update the libraries but for the moment these are offered at a reduced price as while they allow browsing and loading just fine, there is simply no control available.
Get them individually or as part of the new Total Studio 5 bundle.
