VST3 Compatibility Notice

This library has been updated to work with Omnisphere VST3 so please ensure you have the VST3 version of Omnisphere installed.

The previous library version was for VST2 which is still available for users who prefer using VST2 otherwise upgrade paths are available to get the latest VST3 version

Spectrasonic Update Library for Omnisphere 2.5+ Release [Hardware Preset Library]

With the release of Omnisphere 2.5/2.6 a new library called the “Hardware Library” was included. This library contains an additional 1000+ presets (Omnisphere 2.5) and 600 presets (Omnisphere 2.6).
This is considered an “Expansion Library” which adds additional presets for Omnisphere. If you have the previous Omnisphere library you can add the Hardware library expansion above or purchase both together for a bundled discount

Demo Version

The Free Download Version contains a handful of presets to test how the NKS installation and compatibility will work. You can download and install this for free to test things out before purchasing the full NKS library.

Browser & Controls

Presets are tagged and sorted as logically as possible with most of the useful tags from Omnisphere copied over to the NKS preset.
Some tags have been formatted to conform to NKS tagging schemes and some tags have been consolidated or removed to make the browser as easy to navigate as possible.

Custom templates have been created to control the dual layer presets, quad layer presets and multi-layer presets. Templates will load depending on the type of preset selected and allow typical control for that style of preset

This NKS library is created with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the VST vendor. I am not paid, or even supported by Native Instruments or the vendors. Downloading and usage of this library is at the users own risk. Payments are non refundable. There is no support or guarantee offered that these will suit your own application which is why a free version is offered to test with. If you are satisfied with the free version then the paid version offers the same features and includes all factory presets. There is no guarantee that future versions of the Komplete/Maschine software will support these preset files or the current features.

Users are not authorised to share or distribute the files with anyone else without the consent of Freelance SoundLabs. A lot of work goes into managing this project, hosting the files and writing documentation and I am also an active forum member helping out users. Please do the right thing; the cost is only a few beers to help me out.

2.5.3 (15 Sep 19)
– Fixed issue that caused host automation for presets created using Omnisphere 2.5 to not work correctly in Omnisphere 2.6.
Issue only affects hardware library and only before the 2.6 update files were added.
