So I have been hammering out this new site for a solid 2+ months to try and get things up and running before the end of year and after a number of challenges and issues it is finally done! I have to say I am super happy and relieved but ahead will be a new set of challenges as the new CMS (WordPress) is very new to me. 

So the first thing to note is that the template and layout all had to be designed from scratch, a whole new design in the library browsing area had to be designed and lastly, all content had to be manually copied by hand page-by-page with all download links needing to be completely updated. 

While I was doing this I also decided to implement Amazon AWS S3 storage for the larger library files to make it much faster and more reliable to download so for those of you who experienced hours of download times, this should now be much better, tho I have to pay for every GB so please go easy 🙁

All the issues users had of not being able to login, or having the website log you out are gone. Navigation via screen readers, tho not perfect is much more improved. 

We now have more checkout options including PayPal, Credit Card, Google Pay and Apple Pay with “pay later” options to make it more convenient to get the libraries you want. 

The payment system is now also hugely flexible and you will start to notice automatic discounts applied to carts for bulk orders. 

Along with improved navigation, clean design and a nice easy on the eyes dark template is the flexibility to add in much more functionality, more product variations, bundles and hopefully in the future some additional options such as custom preset packs (self designed) as well as updated Ableton Push packs and possibly some additional hardware integration ideas I have going on.

While there are some great improvements in the new design, there are some limitations in my skills. User accounts have been carried over for all users who had products purchased on their account, had logged in at least 1 time in the last 3 years and did not unsubscribe from the newsletter. Your account is available, you just need to do a password reset. 

Purchases from the old site are not able to be bulk imported but I have developed a tool that allows me to generate an order on a user-by-user basis so be sure to read the info in the account area to get your purchases back. 

If you find you no longer have an active account on the site you can use the contact form to get in touch as I have records of all accounts. If no purchases were associated you can simply register a new account. 

While every effort has been made to test and ensure everything is working perfect, this is the real world and sometimes $h!t happens so if something seems wrong or you find a problem just message me and i’ll get it fixed up.
