NKS preset library for KR-55C Drum Machine. Allows browsing of all presets with full control from Komplete Kontrol and Maschine.
The Cherry Audio KR-55C Drum Machine NKS Library for Komplete Kontrol / Maschine contains presets in NKS compatible format for all factory content that comes with the KR-55C instrument.
Each preset has detailed controller mapping, sound preview as well as library database and artwork files to integrate KR-55C into your NKS user or factory library.
Files are tagged and are also provided as 2 selectable banks with Sync enabled/disabled to allow the internal sequencer to load so you can sequence the internal patterns, or non-sync mode allowing programming of beats via your DAW.
The “Multi-Out” version of the plugin has been used for this library which allows both the stereo mix via the standard channel 1/2 output but all other drum outputs are available to send to discrete tracks in your DAW for external mixing. Refer to the KR-55C reference manual for channel assignments (which are fixed)
The Free Download Version contains a handful of presets to test how the NKS installation and compatibility will work. You can download and install this for free to test things out before purchasing the full NKS library.

Presets are tagged and include a detailed controller map. You will find a Bank Selector to select presets with Sync enabled or disabled.
Sync Enabled will load the preset and allow the internal sequencer to play along with your DAW for sequenced mode.
Sync Disabled allows programming of the synth via your DAWs midi track and does not automatically play the internal plugin sequencer.
You can switch sync on/off any time using the “Sync” control on the first controller page and adjust the timing with Sync Rate

This NKS library is developed with no affiliation to Native Instruments or the plugin developer for personal use only. This library is NOT a VST plugin instrument and will not operate as such in your DAW. It is a “NKS Compatibility Library” designed to work with the listed plugin within Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for the purpose of browsing, loading and controlling presets from the plugin within the Komplete Kontrol / Maschine software.

Details on requirements are listed above and this includes the need for the full up-to-date version of the listed plugin to be installed as a VST3 available plugin. If expansion content is listed above, this also has to be installed in addition to the full version of the plugin. A downloadable demo version of the NKS library is available to test and ask questions before purchase along with downloadable instructions.
